Combination: 1) Care for physical person (sunscreen, careful games)
2) Give kids the time of their lives
3) Facilitate spiritual growth
A) Set your mind on Joy. Do it for the Lord (Philippians 4:8, Colossians 3:23)
B) Allow others to be first. (Philippians 2:3)
C) Laugh at yourself
D) Laugh with Integrity, not at another person's expense. Protect people's dignity.
People are still looking for relationships
Luke 24
v15 - come alongside people (don't run through life)
v17,19 - he asked questions... allowed them to question
v19-24 - he let them talk
v25 - correct wrong thinking, teach/train, deliver truth
v29 - stop what you're doing, be open to people, use love to deliver the message
v30 - worship. Point them UP
Then Jesus disappeared: He gave them an opportunity for independent faith & action. (Philippians 1:6). 3 fruits in their life- recognized Jesus, hearts burn, courage to tell others
Quantity time = quality time for kids
