Secular Sabbath a catching concept

A day of rest is appealing to anyone in these fast-paced times. Though the Sabbath concept is thousands of years old to Jews and Christians, it is becoming a trend for secular lifestyles, as well. According to a March 21 report by the Associated Press, people across the country are embracing the idea of taking a day off from the hustle and bustle of the world and focusing on more important aspects of life, such as relationships. Individuals are using the day to move out of their virtual lives and into the real world. The trend, known as the “Secular Sabbath,” is gaining favor with people from all walks of life. Your camp can offer people refreshment while pointing them to the Originator of the Sabbath, and the true rest He offers.
